Guarantee statement – installation and performance guarantee

We voluntarily give you two guarantees for our screen protector films: an installation guarantee for all flexible screen protector films and a performance guarantee for films of the Crystal Advanced line. These guarantees apply in addition to your statutory rights in the event of defects. Your statutory rights apply regardless of these guarantees, you can exercise them free of charge, and they are in no way restricted by the guarantees.

2. Which products the guarantees apply to

The installation guarantee applies to all flexible screen protector films for smartphones and smartwatches that you have bought in our online shop appskins.eu. It does not cover protective glass of the Saphir line, cases or accessories. The performance guarantee applies only to screen protector films of the Crystal Advanced line.

3. Installation guarantee

If something goes wrong when applying the film, for example dust inclusions, bubbles that cannot be removed or a film that comes loose again, and the film can therefore no longer be used, we will replace it for you once free of charge. Please follow our video guide when applying the film; that way it almost always works on the first attempt.

  • Duration: 30 days from the day you received the goods.
  • Scope: once per order; films that have already been replaced under this guarantee are excluded.
  • How to claim the guarantee: within the 30 days, write to welcome@appskins.eu with your order number, a short description of the problem and photos of the affected film. For 2-packs, please show both films in one photo, together with a note showing the current date. If you have already removed the film from the device, a photo of the removed film is sufficient.
  • What happens next: we review your request and usually reply within two working days. Either we send you a replacement directly, or we ask you to order the item again and refund the full purchase price of this new order as soon as you have sent us, after receiving it, a photo of the used film with the old and new order numbers and the current date.

4. Performance guarantee

Crystal Advanced films are made for heavy use. If your film has become worn or damaged during use, you can get a replacement at a reduced price at any time: you order the replacement as a new order and receive the purchase price of the new order back, minus a contribution of €7.95 per item. You therefore effectively pay €7.95 for the replacement film. You do not need to send back the used film, and your device stays protected until the new film arrives.

  • Duration: unlimited from the purchase date of the first film; you can use the guarantee as often as you like.
  • How to claim the guarantee: order the same item with the same item number again; you will receive a new order number. Within 30 days of receiving the new film, send us a photo of the used film to welcome@appskins.eu, ideally stuck onto a sheet of paper, with the old and the new order number and the current date; for 2-packs, both used films in the photo. A replacement is only possible if all used items of the new order can be seen in the photo.
  • What happens next: after review, we refund the purchase price of the new order minus €7.95 per item within 5 working days via the payment method of the new order.

5. Territorial scope

The guarantees apply to deliveries to Germany, to the member states of the European Union and to Switzerland.

6. General conditions

  • The guarantees apply to the original purchaser and are not transferable; if the product is resold, they do not pass to the buyer.
  • A guarantee service does not extend the guarantee period and does not start a new guarantee.
  • The installation guarantee requires that the film was bought for the device model stated on the product page.
  • We may refuse the guarantee service for requests with evidently incorrect information or photos; your statutory rights remain unaffected.
